The lean green fighting machine!

The long awaited launch of the new 2008 ZX10R finally happened earlier this month and it was standing room only at the Bike Pavilion.

More than 200+ bike enthusiasts enjoyed refreshments including food, beer on tap and cups of tea and were even kept amused by glamour girls as they eagerly awaited the unveiling of Kawasaki ’s new superbike.

All Kawasaki Road Bike dealers across the country simultaneously unveiled the brand new machine at a dedicated launch evening on February 7th.  Everyone in our showroom was eager to see if Kawasaki UK would draw the Bike Pavilion as the dealer to award the new bike to a customer but sadly it was not to be.

The first ever bike available went to Stephen Crooks, at Drayton Croft Motorcycles, when the draw was made by the national organisation at 8pm .

That didn’t stop viewers at the Bike Pavilion enjoying the rest of the night and the opportunity to carefully look over the new Ninja ZX10R. R. Visitors were also able to tour the upstairs of the building where a new showroom, bar and events room is to open in March.

Paul said: “Obviously we would have loved it if one of our customers had been the winner of the bike but it was not to be. However the dedicated launch gave people the opportunity to really see the new bike, share their views on its looks and specification, meet old friends and even make new ones. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the Bike Pavilion over the coming months – the kettle is always on!”
